NVMe M.2 SSDs for PCs and laptops
NVMe SSDs use PCIe and require a compatible slot. Compare capacity and PCIe generation, then check your PC specifications before choosing an M.2 model.
Information and buying guide
M.2, PCIe and heatsink compatibility
M.2 is a form factor and NVMe is a protocol: an M.2 slot alone does not guarantee NVMe support. Check the device manual for supported protocols, drive lengths and PCIe generation.
Performance also depends on the system. Check whether a heatsink is included and whether it fits; follow the manufacturer’s requirements for consoles and laptops.
